
Katie Marie Muschlewski
Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor
Katie began practicing Kundalini Yoga in 1998. Her personal experiences inspired Katie to share the bounty of Kundalini Yoga with others. She began teaching in 2005 after completing a traditional teacher training apprenticeship with Guru Anand Kaur. Katie has attended workshops with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Gary Kraftsow. She was honored with the name Guru Kirti Kaur by the 3HO Foundation. Katie founded Lotus Roots Kundalini Yoga to share the technology of Kundalini Yoga with people of all ages and abilities. She is the creator of Yoga Sprouts!, Kundalini Yoga adventures for children and caregivers to share together. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband, their two beautiful children, and cat, Miso.

Katie Muschlewski has been featured in the Wisconsin State Journal's What I Do column in 2006. The Wisconsin State Journal and the Capital Times' Neighbors section also featured Katie and her Yoga Sprouts! Child & Caregiver Yoga Classes in a article about the benefits of yoga for children in 2007. While teaching at the Orange Shoe Gym, Katie contributed to the yoga studio's 2006 silver medal for Madison Magazine's Best of Madison : Best Yoga Studio, and two gold medals in 2007 and 2008.
